spanish carrier Iberia will extend his North American Network for Summer 2022, with three destinations announced. Let us dive in and see what’s on offer.

The airline will offer the following from April 2022.

  • Washington DC (Dulles)
  • San Francisco International
  • Dallas-Fort Worth

Dallas-Fort Worth will be operated four times a week, allowing city tours, as well as connecting to American Airlines’ fortress hub to distant destinations.

Washington DC (Dulles), will also run four times a week after the previous launch was halted by the pandemic – which forced a retreat for all airlines.

Ultimately, San Francisco will return for the summer, with the airline making three flights a week.

These destinations will be available for booking shortly.

This brings Iberia to nine ports of entry in the United States. The airline will also serve:

  • 10 weekly flights to new York
  • 10x weekly flights to Miami
  • 5 weekly flights to Chicago O’Hare
  • 3 weekly flights to Boston
  • 3 weekly flights to Los Angeles
  • 4 times a week for San Juan in Porto Rico, a destination included in the North Atlantic JBA with American Airlines, British Airways and Finnair.

Playing with the North Atlantic Joint Business Agreement

It looks like Iberia is making a lot of noise and movement, which is being done as part of the overseas trade join deal – which brings together American Airlines, British Airways, Finnair and Iberia – both in terms of timing and of course – from income.

The JBA provides connections to link more than 400 cities in 100 countries in Europe and North America.

For Iberia, working under the JBA will be essential – and most importantly, they offer a rather unique route under it – as well as other connectivity between Madrid and the United States.

For passengers, it will offer more choices – as well as the ability to earn points and miles on these routes.
